One of the most famous of all Egyptian Goddesses is Isis. She was initially associated with Hathor, as the personification of “motherly”qualities. However, she rose in significance during the Old Kingdom as a prominent character of the Osiris myth. Using the words of power given by Thoth; she was able to resurrect her murdered husband and conceived the God Horus. She is now worshiped as a Goddess of Magic and Miracles.
