Elephants are majestic, beautiful animals. They are considered sacred in many cultures and a symbol of strength. More to the point the strength needed to remove obstacles. Steady, gentle, controlled power to get the job done is the elephant’s way of being. They are a very positive omen and revered in the Hindu religion. Elephants are associated with the God Ganesha. Ganesha is the son of Shiva. He has a human body and an elephant’s head. Ganesha is worshiped on Tuesday and his devotees love to give him sweets as an offering.
